SHOW ME CLOWNS FOR JESUS 2011

Track I- SCHOOL SHOWS
School Shows - David Sneed & Task Force Thursday 7:00pm - 9:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am- 3:00 pm David Sneed and Task Force. Learn how to put on the school show, Safety is No Joke, and then actually go to a public school and do the show for elementary grade kids! You will have a part in the show as a clown, if you want, and then will perform elements of the show for the General Session on Friday night.

Track II – Face Painting and Balloons
Progressive Face Painting with Gitsy - Terrie Basko. Friday 9:00 am - 11:00 am This is a hands (and face)-on class for beginners to experienced hand/face painters, so make sure to bring your supplies. You will hear from Terrie her suggestions on face painting supplies such as brushes, paints, sponges and cases. You will also see Terrie demonstrate and have time to practice on each other how to make tear drops, swirls, and tiger stripes as well as how to use sponges. The class will progress from simple to more elaborate designs. Come prepared to be inspired to discover the artist within you!
Progressive Balloons to Paint-a-Loons with Gitsy - Terrie Basko Friday 1:00 pm -3:00 pm This is a progressive balloon class. We will start with simple balloon creations and progress to combine them with face painting designs that you made in the morning session to produce Gitsy’s Paint-A-Loons that will excite the kids and wow the adults in the crowd! This class is a hands-on class with the 260 balloons and pumps supplied, but bring your own specialty balloons to play with. Come prepared to ‘think in balloon’ and inflate the rate of smiles in your clients!

Track III – Clown Boot Camp

Friday 9:00 am - 11:00 am & 1:00 pm -3:00 pm

This will be a fun day for all as you learn beginning balloons, skits from scratch, puppetry for clowns, gentle clowning, clown etiquette, and gospel magic for clowns. This may be the overview of clowning you’ve been looking for! If you’re new to clowning or just want to learn some things that you haven’t taken a class on yet, this class will get you going and answer lots of questions.
